Build a business that doesn't need babysitting
Because you didn't come this far to spend your life answering emails.
Systems that work. A team that takes ownership. The same excellent client experience, every single time.
Build a business that can handle more, without needing more of you.
Let's Talk BusinessBe Wildly Ambitious About The Whole Damn Thing
01 |Â The Curse of Being Extremely Capable
Make a good living.
Live a bloody good life.Â
Clients love you. Referrals keep coming.
There's a very good reason for that.Â
Â
01 You remember the detail a client mentioned three months ago
02 You know the process - and exactly when this client needs something different
03 You catch what others miss. Fix it. And make the whole thing look effortless.
Â
That's a lot to carry in one head.Â
Let's build a business that's as capable as you are. With your standards built in, your clients looked after, and room for the life you had in mind.Â
The work matters.
So does everything you’re working for.
02 |Â Building Good Business
It should just work.
So let's build it that way.Â
Â
01. Make space. Make progress.
Get clear on what deserves your time, what can wait and what can go altogether. Then give your bigger ambitions a practical plan and a place in your week.
02. Get it out of your head.
Turn your “I just know” into clear steps, decisions and standards. Give your business a way to remember the details and deliver the care your clients love.
03. Automate the admin. Keep the humanity.
Get the process right, then put automation and AI to work on the repeat jobs. The admin gets done. Your attention goes where it makes a difference.
 04. Give good people something to own
Build the roles, expectations and ways of working that help people take responsibility. So “delegating” doesn’t become another thing you manage.
03 |Â It's time to LEAD
04 | The point of all of this
A business you're proud of.
A life you're actually in.Â
Make good money. Do work you give a damn about. Have time and energy for the people, plans and possibilities beyond it.
That was always part of the vision.
05 | The woman behind the work
Hey! I'm Laura...
People pay me to see what they can’t see when they’re standing in the middle of it.Â
As the founder of The Vision Makers, I bring more than a decade of experience in financial services. I've coached more than 50+ small business owners, led teams in both small business and corporate, and built the systems, processes, and structures that help businesses grow.Â
I look at how the whole business fits together. What your clients experience. Where your time goes. Why the same decisions keep finding their way back to you. Then we work out what needs simplifying, building, handing over or quietly retiring.
My job is to help you see what’s possible—and get better at building it.
Home is a mud-brick house in regional Victoria, with basset hounds, plenty of plants and excellent Wi-Fi. I’m a mum, a coffee snob, and someone with ambitions well beyond a full calendar.
I take the work seriously. I’m just as serious about having a life outside it.
Wild ambition. Simple life.

A few words from the people I've coached...
Nicole Cannon
Pink Finance
I had the pleasure of working with Laura as she was my business coach with a mentoring program I was part of for numerous years. Laura was coaching me at a time with my business where I was personally at burnout and overwhelm. Laura’s calm demeanour and specific questions assisted me to deep dive and drill down to the root cause of the problem. The discovery was enlightening! It allowed me to find a communication solution and the results were extraordinary. I felt so safe and secure in such a vulnerable moment and Laura’s natural ability to continually do this, is exceptional.
Lara Watt
Headstart Financial
I had Laura as a coach for a short time and she was good at asking the hard questions that were uncomfortable for me to answer, getting me outside my comfort zone and motivated me to follow through with actions making me accountable.
